More New Homes & Clean Windows with Special Guest Faithann Basore
Download MP3Welcome:
Welcome! I’m glad you are here. I am Tim Dumas and yes, I’m a realtor with exp realty.
In this episode we have Faithann Basore of Window Cleaning Plus joining us. I’ll share an interview with her a little bit later. I also want to share about one of my favorite places in Oklahoma, The Black Mesa Park. It’s amazing, but let’s start with some real estate news and information.
Real Estate News And Information:
If you are looking to buy a home, you will soon find out there’s not an abundance of preexisting homes on the market. But, that’s been good for builders.
NAHB Chief Economist Robert Dietz, says, “Currently, one-third of housing inventory is new construction, compared to historical norms of a little more than 10%.”

So, more buyers are considering new homes. And actually builders are often offering some very good sales incentives to attract new buyers especially if you use their preferred lender.
Now, If you are considering buying a new home, I highly suggest you still use a real estate agent. I’m not just saying that because I’m an agent. A recent report, I’m told, came out showing that new home buyers that used an agent reported being happy with the process a lot more than new home buyers going it on their own.
An agent will be the one representing you. As fair and as nice as some builder reps are, you have to remember, they represent the builder. It’s good to have someone representing you and looking out for your best interest.

Things To Do:
One of my favorite places to go in Oklahoma is the BLACK MESA STATE PARK.
It gets it’s name from the layers of black lava rock that coated the mesa about 30 million years ago.
You can hike up to the plateau by taking the Black Mesa Summit Trail. This trail will take you all the way to the top of Black Mesa, where you can stand at the highest point in Oklahoma - 4,973 feet above sea level.
At the Black Mesa you can also see dinosaur tracks. They are located are located about 1/2 mile North of the Black Mesa TrailHead.

I wanted to share about the Black Messa because it’s one of the best places in the country to look up at the sky at night, and this happens to be, INTERNATIONAL
